- TV By the Numbers Overnight Nielsen Ratings: "NBC is getting into the practice of winning Monday nights, and while the peacock’s new show, My Dad is Better Than Your Dad appears to be a dud, it wasn’t enough of a drag to keep the Jeff Zucker network out of first place. NBC’s Deal or No Deal was easily the most watched program of the evening averaging 16.85 million viewers."

- USA snags another helping of Monk. The critically acclaimed series is up to its seventh season. Unfortunately I still can't make it more than twenty minutes through the show without cringing.
- The strike ended up costing $2.5 billion over the course of 100 days. I tried to figure out how much that was a day but I have no clue how many zeros there are in a billion.
- Turns out guy who masterminded 9/11 isn't running in the Democratic Primary. Whoops.
- Looks like the much hyped Laptop vs Plasma fight isn't going to go down after all. Having trained my plasma for the last 8 weeks, color me disappointed.
