Daily Bullets

  • TV by the Numbers Overnight Nielsen Ratings: "ABC won the night in both overall viewers and the 18-49 demographic with a three hour airing of A Raisin in the Sun. But since it’s official that the 80th Annual Academy Awards were the least watched ever, I’m not sure another nightly victory will leave the Mouse stinging any less."
  • A nice recap of Will Ferrell's Funny or Die Comedy Tour. I'm not a big fan of films, but I'm really looking forward to Semi-Pro.
  • HBO launched its own YouTube channel. They're airing full episodes of In Treatment and they've got some pretty good stuff but I'm hoping it doesn't come at the expense of all the HBO footage uploaded by users.
  • Las Vegas fans have started a save-our-show campaign titled 'Operation Baby Booties/Socks.' I understand its frustrating to have a show get canceled on a cliffhanger, but Las Vegas? Seriously? Where were these people for the shows that actually deserved the help (Arrested Development, Firefly, Freaks & Geeks, etc.)?
